We’re finding out that more and more people are using instant messaging (a.k.a.  IM)  as their preferred method of contact.  After implementing IM on our EZCapper site http://www.ezcapper.com/contactUs.asp we’ve gotten new clients with little effort.  The clients that come from IM are much more willing to buy on the spot and tend to ask more detailed questions than they would by email or on the phone.  We find that this is a very effective way to acquire new customers and support existing ones.

Note that this IM works with mobile devices too such as your iPhone.
